Project Portfolio & Impact

Schools are living ecosystems — constantly growing, responding, adapting. My consulting work supports that evolution by partnering with leaders to strengthen programs, people, and processes so that students and educators flourish.

Across independent, charter, and public schools, I’ve been engaged to:

  1. Design and Enhance Academic Programs

Collaborating with school teams to expand learning pathways, improve alignment across grade levels, and ensure initiatives reflect developmental needs and educational best practice.

2.Strengthen Leadership & Organizational Systems

Coaching and guiding leaders through change, clarifying priorities, aligning structures, and building systems that support accountable, healthy team culture.

3.Deepen Instructional Practice & Curriculum Coherence
Reviewing curriculum and instructional approaches with faculty, identifying opportunities for growth, and designing professional learning that empowers teachers and elevates student outcomes.

4.Foster Community, Communication & Culture
Helping schools navigate transitions, rebuild trust, engage families, and create environments where all members of the community feel connected and valued.

Launch TK Program at Private Independent School

Partnered with a K–8 independent school to design and implement a new Transitional Kindergarten program as a strategic enrollment initiative. Outcomes included:

• Developed a comprehensive program model grounded in early childhood research
• Created curricular and readiness benchmarks aligned to K expectations
• Delivered staffing, space, and budget plans to ensure operational readiness
• Supported admissions positioning and communications, contributing to a fully enrolled inaugural class
This project successfully expanded the school’s entry point, strengthened long-term enrollment, and ensured students begin their educational journey with strong foundations for learning and belonging.

Advisory Program Design: Rooted in Adolescence & SEL

Partnered with an independent school to design and launch a new advisory program grounded in adolescent development and SEL principles. Defined a clear vision and outcomes, created a yearlong scope and sequence, and trained faculty as confident, compassionate advisors. The result: a stronger sense of belonging, improved student support systems, and consistent structures that help every middle schooler feel known, capable, and connected.

Key Components of the Work

  • Program Vision & Framework:
Co-created a shared purpose for advisory, ensuring clarity around the core outcomes — belonging, student voice, self-advocacy, empathy, and responsible decision-making.

  • Scope & Sequence Development:
Designed a year-long SEL-aligned curriculum that promotes skills in self-awareness, relationship building, community contribution, and healthy risk-taking.

  • Faculty Training & Support:
Facilitated professional learning to build teachers’ confidence as advisors, providing strategies for facilitating discussion, navigating sensitive topics, and fostering inclusive group norms.

  • Structures for Sustainability:
Established schedules, group composition approaches, assessment tools, and communication systems that ensure the program remains consistent, purposeful, and continually improving.

The school now has a cohesive advisory program that strengthens community connection, increases student support, and amplifies the voices of middle schoolers during a critical period of growth and change. Teachers report greater comfort and clarity in their roles, and students report feeling seen, heard, and empowered.

Student-Led Conference System Redesign

Partnered with a K–8 school to transform traditional teacher–student conferences into student-led experiences that empower ownership of learning and reflect the school’s mission and values. The work included developing clear structures for goal-setting and reflection, creating consistent tools and templates across grade levels, and guiding teachers in coaching students to speak to their progress with confidence and evidence.

The redesigned approach strengthened alignment to the school’s vision of student agency, increased family engagement, and elevated student voice as a core driver of learning and growth.
